Never had a picnic here but the trails are epic. It is so nice to get out in these hills. Name has flat in it but there are plenty uphill and down hills. Challenging terrain as well as flowing trails. And quite a bit of shade which is super nice as the heat bumps up.
Great area, with picnic tables and bathrooms. Many trails to walk and bike.
