Propane refill is a rip off. They charge $10.00 more to refill your tank than other places charge to exchange. $30.00 is outrageous.
Pinch a Penny has been wonderful with us. I shoot them an email BAM David shows up in 20 minutes and it wasn’t necessary right away. Tech Emily who does our service is great and she explains things everything to us and is polite and a pleasure to be around. She also provides recommendations if something is off. They responded, communicate well.
Apparent price gouging in Punta Gorda FL 4/2025 and for the last few years = 20lb propane tank refills: $28.99 + tax. Nearby competitor (equally filled 4.7 gallons full tank) $18.29 + tax. ¿Nice store. Really friendly employees. If there's an explanation other than price gouging us here in PG we'd like to hear it...? I am sorry I took this long to post a review. But I cannot be Happier with the help I received Alyx and Jessica at Pinch-a-Penny in Punta Gorda. All of a sudden, I found horrible stains on areas of my pool that appeared overnight. I was told that he had to do with copper and that I needed to empty my pool and do an acid wash. I thought that was too drastic and also could compromise the integrity of the plaster in the pool so I stopped buy them and show them the pictures.
