Take the work out of pool maintainance This place is great because all you do is bring in a pool water sample and they tell you what to add and how much. They take all the hard work out of caring for a pool. Prices are reasonable.

Knowledgable and well stocked We use this store for all of our pool and spa needs. They always have what we need in stock, and are always available to troubleshoot equipment in store or by phone. Free water testing is a plus. PROS: Friendly and knowledgable CONS: Could be open later on Sundays

big help with pool maintenance If you need help maintaining your pool or spa then Pinch A Penny on Seminole Blvd. in Seminole is the place for you. Bring in a sample of your pool or spa water for a complete water analysis. There is always plenty of parking and the staff is more than helpful.

Service and Pricing Contrary to the lady above (with whom I must sympathise) I find the staff courteous and helpful and the manager has even helped me by carrying my 40 lb tub of chlorine tablets to my car. I am a perfectly fit man. Maybe they were busy and just heedless that day?As for price, they are below their competitor's pricing (across the road) although, like any pool supply shop, exorbitant, regardless. I even asked them to order me 100 gallons of black paint. When asked why I told 'em - "all it is is a black hole s... read more

A pool supply store that could use a lesson in customer service As a pool owner an a mother of a small child, having help carrying large containers of chemicals to my vehical is a must. At this store, no one offered to help me, or to even hold the door for me to wheel my purchases out to my vehicle. The prices were decent, but the customer service was severly lacking. Most of the staff stood behind the counter chatting instead of being courteous and offering help. Not a very satisfying experience.

Good pool partner! The Pool Depot is a "one man band" operation. Chris runs a professional and dependable pool maintenance company. He installed a new pump for our pool at a more reasonable rate and in a more timely fashion than the bigger name pool places. Chris also cared for our pool on a weekly basis and kept it crystal clear without increasing his prices everytime the bill came. I would recommend highly!

Keep the kids swimming Typically get service with no wait. They are great with answering questions. Trust me my pool has been, green, yellow and even black and they have always given me the right advice. (Black may look the worse but it was actually the easiest to deal with- lots of chlorine.)

Best pool & spa supplies! I go to this place for all my spa needs. When I first got my spa I didn't know squat about chemicals. The staff was friendly and helpful and took the time to educate me and set me up with all the essentials to get my spa up and running. They have a lot of extras that you can't find at the big box stores such as spa toys, thermostats, nets, you name it. And the price is always good. I like their chemicals better than the Wal-mart stuff and have an easier time balancing the water. They are knowledgeab... read more

Friendly staff and wide variety of pool stuff Many customers come here to get refills of chlorine including me. They have carts that you can use to bring it in and back out to your car. The staff will even take it to your car for you! Large selection of chemicals, floats, and pool related equipment. However, be prepared to pay a higher price than at the national retailers. PROS: Friendly service, free water testing CONS: High prices
