I AM SO SORRY YOU PEOPLE FEEL LIKE THIS IS A GOOD PLACE TO TAKE YOUR PET....LET ME SHARE WITH YOU MY EXPERIENCE THAT IMPACTED MY ENTIRE LIFE......MY "TOOTA" WHO WAS THE LOVE OF MY LIFE AND MY EVERYTHING WAS TAKEN INTO THAT PIMA PET CLINIC ON MARCH 7TH OF 2022.....MAINLY BECAUSE NOBODY ELSE WOULD ACCEPT A NEW PATIENT THAT MORNING AND THEIR 2.5 GOOGLE RATING MADE ME NERVOUS BUT THEY WERE MY ONLY OPTION AFTER CALLING 6 OTHER PLACES. They tried to gouge the wrong person. My lab had lacerated his side and I took him in to have the wound closed. Pima Pet Clinic gave me an estimate that ranged from $1323 to $1548 and explained that it could be much more. Unfortunately for them I am familiar with both human and veterinary surgery and care. Things like needing a catheter, general anesthesia, probable overnight stay, drains, etc. were completely unnecessary and only served to inflate the estimate. Some time ago our dog got into some cati and was stuck by it. We made very effort to slowly remove the catus from her face knowing full well that there may be issues down the road. We decided to take her to Pima in efforts to releave her of what we believed to be a broken thorn that festered causing an open wound. In short after being seen and a vet making effort we were told that the piece may still be in there, painkillers and antibiotics did nothing to help, our pup still has an issue and yes we paid 250$ for all this.
