BEWARE: absolutely do not stop here if $150 is a lot of money for you, because that is how much this Pilot station will pre-authorize your card for IN ADDITION TO however much you actually spent on gas. Capital One texted me because they thought it was fraudulent, but when I called the fraud department, they confirmed that it was a pre-authorization on the Pilot station’s end. Some people would not be able to eat if their card was pre-authorized for that much money. Absolutely wild.
