I am sorry to say I would not recommend Erik. I arrived on time but he was early and started without me. There were things like the attic I wanted to see. He did not check the outside spickets or label any of the shut off valves at all. If he did we would have noticed that the back shut off valve was most likely inaccessible (covered by drywall) and the pipe to the rear spicket was cracked and would have avoided a costly repair and basement flooding.

Pillar to Post and all of their team were very professional, kind and helpful thru the whole process. I used them several times and each time was the same efficient, service. I would heartily recommend their services.

Hired pillar to post Tom James to inspect a home we were purchasing. We were given a fairly clean report with no foundation issues. Upon moving in and our floor caving through we had contractors come out only to tell us our house need re leveled and new foundation as we had dry rot which was not reported by the inspector. After contacting them they refused to return our 650.00 fee or help in any way. Very disappointed and disappointed they would not stand behind their inspection in any way.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Being cursed out by the owner says enough. There is absolutely no reason to ever be treated with such disrespect from any business. From not returning calls before the inspection to being a half hour late for the inspection, it didn’t start off very well. Then to disrespect and then totally disregard my family member who came to help me (since we are new to Pittsburgh, just moved from Louisiana) just made things worse. “Pillar to post found a foundation problem that saved my husband and I $9000. They are a true blessing to have on your team. They are very thorough and give you an easy to read detailed report with pictures at the end. Problems are ranked in order of repair urgency. I hired Andrew Matson for my new townhouse inspection, and he missed some fundamental checks for my townhouse driveway. The inspection reports look fine so I closed on the house and moved in.
