Scott is very knowledgeable about the inspection. He informed me and explained everything he found. Whether the situation was bad or good he was up front with the inspection. Seemed to be thorough about his work which made me feel confident in what we were facing in buying this house. Thank you Scott.
His miss cost us $12,000+ Do not trust this home inspector. We hired him based on a recommendation from the realtor, Christina Rice with 5 Star Realtors, and his negligence has cost us over $12,000. He completely failed to perform a basic visual check of the drain near the egress window in our walkout basement, which was buried under dirt and debris. Our inspector was Scott Docter and he was excellent. Did his inspection very effeciently and was able to explain in detai things that our appraiser may look for, due to us using VA home loan financing. Scott was able to answer all of our questions and concerns we had of the inspection. Overall id definitely recommend Scott and Pillar to post
