We are in the process of selling a home we lived in for 22 years. We have had several inspections from different home inspection companies over the past 12 months, but The Miranda Team-Pillar to Post Home Inspectors was the only company to claim the foundation had movement and moisture. They went on to say "Cracks were noted throughout which were concealed with paint". They never mentioned that the paint was "drylock" which helps mediate moisture penetration, nor did they explain that the basement had an active and fully ope... read more

We went to the home and noted, movement and bowing of the foundation and to have a qualified contractor evaluate and repair as needed. This is not alarmist. This is looking out for the potential buyer. If an expert evaluates it and determines there isn’t a problem then it would comfort the buyer.
PillarToPost came highly recommended by my realtor as a thorough and professional choice to preform our inspections. Walt is very professional and knowledgeable. He is very meticulous and cares about the future homeowners he is helping to protect. He also took time to explain anything he saw to me in detail with suggestions on what could be done to fix any issues. This duo of inspectors at Pillar and Post were top notch and honestly went above and beyond throughout the process. I had tons of questions and they had solid answers and easy to follow solutions. When looking at a new construction home or a home over 50 years old it never hurts to have experienced eyes cover all angles of your investment. I highly recommend the guys at Pillar and Post. The Paulsons will be doing all of our inspections in the future.

I hired The Miranda Team to conduct a radon test of my home after learning that it was Radon Awareness Month on their Facebook page. I never knew that there was a connection between lung cancer in non-smokers and radon. My mother had lung cancer as a non-smoker and it was certainly worth it to me to have my home tested.
