AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Being cursed out by the owner says enough. There is absolutely no reason to ever be treated with such disrespect from any business. From not returning calls before the inspection to being a half hour late for the inspection, it didn’t start off very well. We were referred to Kara and James Shields by our real estate agent, whom we trust. However, Kara and James Shields missed several big ticket items on our home inspection - as evidenced by a follow-up inspection by a different, more thorough, company. They said they would issue a refund and that it would take 2 weeks. However, it has been 2 weeks, I have sent 3 emails, left a voicemail, and called corporate and have received no response.
