The team at Fox Brook is wonderful and made my transfer to their apartments wonderful. I learned of Pillar when they bought the complex I lived at previously, and they have been great to work with. Responsive and friendly.
Do not rent from these people. Ever since they took over Birchwood Square apartments, things have gone down hill. They came in raising rent substantially, forcing tenants to take on their internet/cable package (even the poor elderly tenants who do not want or need it) and have fixed/ updated nothing to warrant the raises in rent. They have horrible customer service and don’t care about their tenants, make up ridiculous rules and are never in any rush to fix any issues that are brought to their attention. My apartment flooded due to a building system failure, forcing me out of my home. Management waited nearly a week to clearly disclose the true source of the water, then expected me to return without providing written proof from the remediation company that the unit was actually safe or sanitized. I was displaced, scrambling to manage work and housing, while management dragged their feet on basic documentation that should be standard in any serious flooding event.
