RecommendedWas a very nice place to stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. However, while most of the food that I ate at the dinner I was at was great, the prime rib was a little over done and I only had one steak that was enjoyable. The ice cream that they have there is creamy and better than average, nothing special though. They had about 7 different flavors available when I went.
They were very helpful, and made the moment as pleasant as it could be, Thank you Jay and all of your staff.
Nice home feeling comfortable rooms got simple tv but always got something to watch good continental breakfast waffle station egg sausage biscuits fruits Ice cream coffee tea what ever you want almost nice lounges fireplace lake right out side less then fifty feet away from building restaurant connected banquet room all with in entrence recommend every one to stop buy to stay Iditarod races for all to watch and enjoy summer fishing and swimming right out the back exit
Although my sister and I were traveling for a sad occasion, the staff at this lodge made it very enjoyable. Our room was comfortable, clean and well stocked. All staff were very personable and served us well. Amanda is an outstanding desk clerk. Jamie works tirelessly at the breakfast bar with plenty of smiles. We were able to shop at the onsite gift store with some great sales. They even have a wake-up call you can request in case the Aurora Borealis show up during the night.
