We enjoyed our stay in a double queen room overlooking the Chena River. The room was well-appointed with a tub/shower, plenty of storage, and a window A/C unit. The buffet breakfast is typically Alaska-pricey at $18.95 per person. Note: the coffee is terrible. Pike’s Landing Restaurant is across the parking lot and offers indoor and outdoor seating in seasonable weather. It, too, is expensive. If you have booked this hotel and waiting for shuttle service. Forget about this, first they will take 5-10min to take your call and 2nd, the wait time is 40-60min. The crowd came with the same airplane I was in left within 10min of arrival and am here still stuck alone waiting. Good luck if you are planning to book.
Friendly staff, free breakfast, nice shower and beds. Beautiful views, and outdoor zones. Perfect for pictures. Museum like common areas. Our initially booked room with queen bed and sofa bed was not clean with crumbs and used sheet hidden inside foldable sofa-bed. But after complain, the friendly staff immediately provided us another and better room. The hotel itself is large and very crowdy. I did not expect such intense inside traffic in the Alaska's hotel.
