This was once an excellent medical facility but it has become a living nightmare. To keep this review brief I’ll just share my latest awful experience: My throat was swabbed but the specimen was improperly transported at the wrong temperature and could not be processed. Five days later and they still haven’t responded to my calls to provide a second sample. If you value your health PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE!
No one returned my call to schedule an appointment to see my primary doctor so I can get my prescription refilled. I tried calling all day and no one could help me. I was on the phone for 50 minutes and decided to hang up. I'm not sure why the call back option for the answering machine is even an option if this office just neglects to call you back when they receive a voicemail.
Trying to get through to my primary doctor to refill my pain medication. Recorded message said they are experiencing problems. No phone number connected. Said their offices are open and to show up for any appointments that you may have. What about a back up system or plan? We live in Huntington Beach and really don't want to make a trip to Whittier for a RX refill. Please get your cyber security up to date!!
3 months to come in for a physical is insane, I’m very disappointed with PIH and will look for a new doctor
The care you get here is fine and most of the doctors and nurses are good. The problem is PIH does can't about it's patients and is just looking to maximize revenue by over booking all of their doctors. It takes months to get an appointment and then you are lucky if you see a doctor for more than a few minutes. If you actually need someone while you are sick your only option is to go sit in urgent care for houra and pay extra money.
