Horrible experience I don’t recommend this place. Unprofessional and rude! They don’t know how to handle autistic kids and even though you say what you want in a haircut they do as they please and dismiss what you want. Very horrible staff. I wish I remember what the lady’s name is, but she was old and had weird eyeshadow. She left my son’s hair uneven and my son felt very uncomfortable with her especially how she was grabbing and twisting his head. Terrible experience. We specifically requested a scissor cut, but the stylist assigned to my child, Yesenia, insisted on using clippers because it was “faster,” disregarding what we asked for. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. The overall attitude from both the stylist and the receptionist was unfriendly, and despite having an appointment, we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing them — even though the salon was empty. Iv taken my daughter to other places for a cut and never had an experience like this. We went to the location at Otay Ranch in Chula Vista since it’s closer to us. When you walk in, it’s not welcoming at all. Our stylist Yesenia did not introduce herself and seamed annoyed, upset and not friendly at all. Even her coworker had to tell her to “smile”. I had originally asked for long layers and a trim on the bangs and blend out her hair. But because she made my daughter so uncomfortable I just told her to do a trim. My daughter... read more

The receptionist today, 12/24, was very rude. I perfectly understand their grace period policy, but I asked her if I could wait in case the next appointment didn't show up, and she said NO, that they weren't going to have people waiting there. But what about when they see me later than my scheduled appointment time? It was raining and I couldn't get out of the car, and after 3 minutes, she refused to see us or even let us wait in case the other appointment didn't show up. Dont advertise something you dont offer I called to book an appt with someone that specializes with kids with sensory issues receptionists said no such thing there, other than you all work with kids on a daily basis.
