The service was good and it's very clean and comfortable place. Had the Spare ribs and General Tso's chicken. The ribs tasted microwaved and had a bad flavor, hot outside and cold in the middle. The rice was super dry and flavorless. The Tso's chicken was nice and crispy but had no flavor or spice to it at all. Only thing this place has going for it was the bar. Drinks were good.
I am not sure if the incredible food is the star or if Nancy Lee is the star, either way, this landmark establishment is a 5 star all the way around! Everything on the menu is top quality and cooked to perfection! Nancy pays attention to everything, even whilst entertaining and greeting every guest, nothing gets past her without her approval! I have watched her and her eyes are on everything! Yes, it is pricier than the norm but worth every cent!
Nancy Lee's has a well documented reputation for excellent Chinese Spare ribs & they didn't disappoint. They were meaty - & well cooked with a beautiful glaze. Nancy greeted us warmly as we entered her place like we were family. Service was top notch. We also enjoyed steamed dumplings & sautéed Bok Choy.
A native NY'er now living in Palm Springs CA. I make Nancy Lees my first foody stop when in NYC! Great food combined with great hospitality....Nancy always hugging her guests ���
As good as it was 20+ yrs ago at their old location! Super delicious and great service!
Nancy Lee and her staff are incredible! The food is fantastic. We have been going to Nancy Lee's for 15 years and it is amazing every time!!!!
