D licious I had the dinner sampler, sausage, brisket and ribs with potato salad and baked beans . Oh and Texas toast. Yummy
I enjoyed the fried catfish! It was delicate, not fishy, and the sides were delicious. Our waitress could not have been nicer.
The worst part about it is I cannot decide which of my favorites to eat... the smoked fish, the fried catfish, the bbq beef salad, or Monterey chicken?!!? The veggie burger is really good too! I think a side of okra, sweet potato fries, and pepper poppers is perfect with any order! Going to have to go back for coconut cake and coffee!
We have eaten here several times. We've never had a problem. It's close to home so convenient.
Haven’t gotten my food yet but have been in line for 30 minutes (called at 710, 25 minute wait, in line at 730, and finally get my food at 800). I sat in the same spot for at least 20 minutes so I’m guessing someone ordered at the window and wasn’t asked to move after the order. I’ll update rating pending quality of food... Got home to find my burger cold and my fries cold and soggy. I won’t be back.
Stopped in yesterday night for supper with my fam. We waited about 25 minutes and I then had to ask someone to take our order. I was told they forgot! Only a few people were dining there. I ordered the veggie plate. When I got my food, everything was cold except my fried squash! I had it sent back to be heated. When I got it back the 2nd time, it all was still cold. Not the best experience!
Not sure about the negative reviews but we've never had a problem. Always good service & delicious food! Got our Thanksgiving turkey from them this year & it was so yummy! Will do that again for sure!
I went there a couple years back and some 90 year old granny in Daisy Dukes( shorty shorts) suggested I try the rib sandwich. When I got it was it was just bbq hotdogs split in half. Go try , Joe Joe or Whole Hog they are way better!
