Great fried green tomatoes. The fried chicken sandwich was tasty and huge.

I was very impressed by this place. The meal was great, as was the service and atmosphere. Had the chicken and waffles and it was incredible. Even the coffee is good here! Great SLC spot for brunch, definitely going back!!

Business response:

I have eaten here a few times before they closed to reopen after perhaps a management shift. I had absolutely horrible experiences before the reopen but decided to try it again with friends tonight and it was once again disappointing... and we didn't even get to the meal part. Their hostess/front of house staff clearly had no idea what they were doing. We put our name on the waitlist and where told it would be a 15 minute wait only to wait for 15 minutes in the cold to be told they weren't going to be able to seat us at all.... read more

Business response:

Sarah, I'm sorry to hear about this. Can you let me know the date and time of your visit so I can look into it? You should only have received professional, courteous service, and if you experienced anything less I sincerely apologize. I hope to hear back from you soon. Best, Amy B., Owner

It's overpriced for what you receive. My chicken breast was bland and had powdered sugar sprinkled in it! Why a sweet fried chicken. My eggs were cold and rubbery when they came to my table. Business response:

Although the menu does state that our chicken and waffles come with powdered sugar, I can understand if that wasn't quite to your taste. That said, I don't plan to change the recipe -- we only want to create our own unique dishes. However, if your eggs were cold, or if you felt the meal didn't live up to its perceived value, that's unacceptable, and I apologize. I'll look into that ASAP. Thank you for your fe... read more
