What a nice dryer! you can hear this noise all the time from your stacked laundry machine. It doesn't matter on/off status since it makes more interesting weird sounds during the running. Plus, don't forget your paperwall. You are not alone in your apartment. building has severe maintenance issues which include MOLD throughout the building. Shoddy construction work is just made even worse by maintenance who glues things back on and paints over anything they can cover up. avoid at all costs, save yourself the headache.
I lived in Pierpont for 2 years. With the exception of one front desk person, the staff is ok. I really enjoyed the maintenance crew I dealt with, until several of them left. However the RMS policies and processes that the front office follows are atrocious. The building was new when I moved in and the construction is completely shoddy, which resulted in extreme noise from above & beside my apt, as well as multiple maintenance issue. This is the worst "luxury" apartment complex I have ever been in. There are over 200 apartments for which there are two elevators in the front. One of them has been broken for over two months at this point. The other one is sometimes booked for hours so that people can move in. Look at the images, each elevator has a note saying use the other one and no I am not joking. During those hours you basically have to use stairs.
