Just wanted to let people know that I visited this shop on 12/26/09. They are under new ownership and are completely different than they used to be. The consultant and owner were very sweet and accomodated me without an appt. I never felt rushed at all. They even stayed after to help me with bridesmaid dress questions. Please take this to heart and visit this shop.
When I first walked in, I could tell the store had a VERY LIMITED selection. I told the consultant my budget, and she told me she had NOTHING for me and proceeded to give me ONE dress to try on. I told her this was my first time trying on dresses, so I'm open to everything and just want to get ideas of what works and what doesn't. She said to me "there is no point in trying on dresses that you can't afford". While that is true, who knows if I could have been talked in to a more expensive dress had I fallen in love with it! Finding my wedding gown was something I’ve been waiting for years to get. So many went through my head, how I NEEDED it to look, accessories, veils and all. After searching and visiting every bridal boutique I possibly had access to I decided on Laura's Bridal Collection. (Referred by my sister whom just purchased a gown from there, she was referred from a co-worker) There they welcomed with open arms very meaningful. I found a dress here but wanted to see what else was out there before I bought it. At the end of the day, I decided that the dress was the one & I wanted to try it on again before I bought it. I went back 15 minutes before they closed & the doors were locked. They let me in but when I said I wanted to try it on 1 more time, the lady told me that she couldnt let me do that unless I was going to buy the dress because everyone had someplace to be right after work (that should have been THE BIGGEST clue not to buy from here).
