While visiting New York, we were very excited to visit our nephew at his job here at Pier A Harbor House. The food is amazing, we enjoyed sitting by the water while we took in the sites. The service was also amazing. There was also the excitement of the wind taking an umbrella into the river, Lol. It was successfully fished out and retrieved by the restaurant by the staff.

We walked in on a whim just to see what was inside the building. Stayed for drinks and appetizers. I ate the freshest best tasting oysters ever. The short rib sliders were a meal in themselves. Our waiter was clearly new, but charming and attentive, and what he didn't know, he promptly went to find out. And the tab was not an outrage, as I would expect in that part of town for that kind of place. Will definitely go back for more.
