We set up a boat rental a month prior to today, and we were to start at 10am, we arrived at 10:15 and our boat was still not ready, shortly after we were told that our boat was having technical issues with the battery and didn’t know if it was a quick fix and they would follow up, 3 hours later I call and ask about the status and they were still unsure and “didn’t know what was going on” and were not helpful with the situation at all, rescheduling doesn’t work for a party of 10 for a boat, it’s a major inconvenience. We apologize the rental you had scheduled experienced mechanical issues and was unavailable. The extent of the issue was not discovered until that morning and was not fully determined / repaired until after 4:00p that day. We purchased a 2013 Southbay 724 E from Pier 51 a month ago. We had been shopping around for about 5 months and finally came across this boat. Our experience with Sean was very easy and we felt comfortable asking questions (trust me I asked a lot of questions. We live in NM and had to rely on Sean’s openness and integrity to make a decision and make an offer on it based off Sean’s word.
