THAT'S a going out of business sale? The jokes on me for not expecting Pier 1 to be "too expensive" to the final curtain call.
We discovered that there closing sale wasn't actually a sale. They crossed out original prices with sharpies then marked the prices up. Even after the "discount" items were still more expensive then their original price.
Love their merchandise but it's a bit on the pricey side..
