Dr Meals leaves a lot left to desire. Is not forthcoming with any information/details about anything, only if you have a question and is still very vague. Did not come speak to my family after surgery. I've had more trouble with my hand since surgery, including pain in areas that had no pain prior. He refuses to listen to anything im telling him about how my hand feels now after surgery and has done nothing but treated me as if i were an addict searching for pain medication. Dr. Clifton Meals is a phenomenal warm spirited orthopedic Doctor. Two years ago I had a bad fall, in which I injured both of my hands. Dr.Meals did everything possible to help me manage my pain. However, I couldn't use my hands for basic everyday needs. I was in so much pain to where my quality of life begun to close in on me. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Meals! Highly recommend him.
I had a trapeziectomy performed on my left thumb and it was a success. Dr. Meals did a great job. My thumb has lost a little movement however the pain and limitations that I had before the surgery was much worse. I'm able to grip things better without all the pain. I'm satisfied with his performance.
