The only reason this gets a 1 star is because I don't get the option to leave zero. Went to this Newnan piedmont ER for serious concerns, possible infection after a surgery 3 days prior. There is a lot of pain involved in the kidney area and after 2 hours they managed to take my name and check my blood pressure. I can do this on my own at home. I was there for 5 days in room 813. There was two Nurses That's good out amongst all of them Don't get me wrong they all were great But Jessica and Adrianna Went beyond the call of duty Hey, were there they answered questions? If they didn't have the answer, they followed up with a doctor and came back to me with the answer. 2 top-notch nurses. Hopefully, I'll never go back but if I do I would love to add those 2 on my team.
Staff doesn't communicate with one another. Doctors should be checking chart notes before speaking or seeing patients/their families about care. It seems like prognosis, diagnosis, treatment, and options change daily without thought because of the lack of knowledge regarding each case. Case workers lack personality or empathy. It's a miserable experience dealing with this hospital if someone you love is dying in it.
My mother went to the ER on the evening of Wednesday, April 8 2020 with a UTI and 4 days later passed, not from COVID-19, but neglect. Her death was due to the failure of consulting with family members after the 1st day and not listening to me as the appointed medical power of attorney.
