My husband Cleveland Shelton James was recently a patient on the 8th floor attended by Dr. Kahn and it was the best hospital experience we've had thus far in his long journey of medical treatments. Dr. Is a good doctor, staff is so rude and uninformed I will never go there again.
We drove from out of town to the Columbus hospital trying to reach our brother before having emergency surgery. As we entered the hospital where you sign in, we had to go through the process of being signed in. I leaned over to my sister and whispered that I didn’t think we’d make it before they took him to surgery. The RUDE black lady said “I’m doing my job. I highly recommend Piedmont Outpatient Surgery and Dr.Mullis. From the time that I arrived, I was greeted warmly and taken care of in an exceptional manner by the nurses (Frankie, Amber, Michelle, Alex, and the recovery room girls), and the anesthesia team (Seth, Tabitha, and the anesthesiologist). Dr. Mullis did a wonderful job with my procedure and I love his enthusiasm and warm personality as well as his sweet assistant! If you need a surgical procedure that can be done outpatient—look no further than!!
I was a pt on the orthopedics floor an all of the nurses an tech were really good. They were professional caring on point with their pt care routine. About 10 years ago she diagnosed me with myastenia gravis. She very quickly prescribed me with Mestinon. My symptoms and research didn't add up. In one visit, I discussed with her that I I didn't feel her diagnosis was correct. She got very defensive and somewhat made fun of my research and knowledge. Ended up getting two other blood tests, one from my physician and another from one of Emory's neuro-Ophthalmologist. Both came back negative. I visited Dr. Kallan Montgomery, MD, at Piedmont Physicians of Peachtree City - Kedron Primary Care today, and my experience was far from satisfactory. I was trying to comfort my crying child and was abruptly told to sit down without any explanation of the issue I was causing. This interaction made me feel judged before the doctor even took the time to get to know me. Dr. Montgomery's conduct was unprofessional, and I did not appreciate the way I was treated.
