I expected much better. Had a biopsy done. Left waiting for close to 2 hours before procedure. Doctor came in to explain procedure. She was nice. Nurse came only if you buzzed for her. After procedure went back to recovery. Not offered anything to drink, after 12 hours of no food or liquid. I finally asked if i could have some sprite and crackers. Nurse finally brought me a lunch bag, which noone had mentioned they even had. Was told if i needed a nurse to buzz. Noone came on their own. I never fell asleep from all the noise... read more
Never felt so disconnected from healthcare humanity or regard for time energy and finance. If benign neglect were a building and staff, this would be it in brick and mortar flesh and blood. A campus too big to manage, an apathetic staff that when giving instructions that they expect to be followed to the letter is incorrect make it your problem at your expense. Thankfully they have the patient complaint archons there to massage your shoulders and pat your head to tell you it's an unfortunate price that" YOU" have to pay.
I had a recent ultrasound and everything from registering to the actual procedure went smooth and in a timely manner. Brendalynn (spelling!), my tech, was very professional yet personable and made the experience less worrisome and move along in a very timely manner! Mahalo again for everything.
Worst decision of my life to come here for a spinal tap i have had headaches and dizziness for over a year and the hospital won’t right their wrongs I’ve been in the worst pain of my life
Update: Technically, we were called back only 11 minutes after our scheduled appointment time, the 30 minute early arrival requirement combined with the need to feed just made it seem like a whole lot longer. We were called back almost immediately after my initial review post. The nurse was kind and friendly and walked my daughter through the process.
