For cost reasons- do not choose Piedmont health system if you can avoid it. They are motivated by profit, and will up-charge you as much as they can. I have had two major interactions with Piedmont health system. Both times, I asked for estimates before agreeing to treatment. The first time, they estimated $0 patient responsibility, and the final bill was over $2000, for a minor surgery.
