I have a vintage custom car project (Ford Shoebox 1949) with a swap 302. I had an alternator that needed replacement ASAP (need to be at a car show in 3 days). However, it was not an original Ford part. My usual auto parts store could not find a replacement. So, I took a chance to this store since it was near my work place. I am perplexed by the positive reviews because I received poor customer service. They would not even let me ask for the part I was looking for over the phone. Rather, the gentleman insisted twice that I 'come by'. The part would need to be ordered...if they can get it. Why would I need to take a 45 minuted trip in order to ask if they can get the part or me, one for which I would need to return. Language was not an issue. They don't want my business...?
