Nice local state park and a short hike even if you explore all trails. Definitely worth visiting and great vista views
We wNt in September and the climate was wonderful. The gift shop and restrooms were very clean as well. Beautiful place to stop at if you are ever around d Billings!

Nice Rangers, very helpful for some of us who ask questions. Though it is winter, the grounds were clean, walkways seemed safe and we enjoyed ourselves.
Pictograph Cave State Park is not the largest park and the trails are not that advanced or long but when get to higher ground and survey the surrounding areas, you might feel like the entire state is a park. The attraction of the park are some carvings and artwork on the cave walls but to be honest, they are hard to see and harder to interpret.
