About this business

This seasoned restaurant is popular with both tourists and natives. The festive interior and good food make it a hot spot just about anytime you go, but the lunch crowd is especially fierce so go before 11:30a or expect to wait an hour to get a table. Also, this is one of the few Tex-Mex restaurants in town that is open on Sundays. The food at Pico de Gallo is well made and served with generous portions. Try the crunchy chalupas with spicy beans and loads of toppings, or the carne guisada, which isn't served on a taco, but o... read more

Towing Cars is more important than the food – This restaurant is located near an area where significant numbers of homeless people congregate and live. Were approached twice between parking lot and restaurant. Restaurant posted large signs regarding towing and that they are not responsible for stolen items from car. After lunch with my vendors, I briefly left restaurant in one of the other contractor's car to visit a job site (we had 4 cars) When I returned the restaurant had towed my car. It appears that the restaurant spen... read more

Stay away from this place – I went there to meet someone for lunch. They were not there yet so went across the street to find an ATM. Upon my return 5 minutes later to wait for my party, they towed my car. Don't go near there. They may tow your car regardless of whether you are eating there or not. Needles to say it is not worth the +$250 charge for towing which they could care less about.

Towing Cars from patrons parking lot – I saw them tow this guys car. The tow service guy was hiding in the bushes laughing. I will never ever go there again. These people also own Mi Tiera, forget it. I am done with all of them. This is how they treat their patrons. I heard that they get kick-backs from the towing service. There are plenty of other places to eat in SA.

not worth it anymore – use to be good a couple of years back. chips we're crunchy not crispy.(too thick)sauce was watery and tasted like straight tomatoe sauce. long wait for the food, and not worth it. if the wait is long, the food should be hot. right? nothing just didn't taste authentic anymore. (tourist trap) this reveiw is from an hispanic not a gringo....you'll have better luck at a taqueria!! Thats real hispanic food! yeah i'm sure the've been open for ever but its the tourists that are keeping it open......

Mexican Tourist Food – Not your most authentic mexican food, but it can pass. If you have out of town guest for business, then take them here. It's in the heart of downtown and has easy access to all the tourist spots of SA. But if you are entertaining family and friends that want really good food this isnt' the spot, plus it's kind of pricey.

Food was OK – I will never go back. I had a bad experance there the food was just OK,really nothing special. Music was way out of control they kept playing louder an louder even when ask to go away they did not. Manager could not do any thing about it. Waiters were very good and the Tortillas were very hard .

Excellent Restaurant!!! – This place is fantastic. I held my rehearsal dinner here and it was both wicked cheap and super yummy. I had a large crowd (30+) and a lot of out-of-towners unfamiliar with Mexican food and culture. I think they were more impressed with this dinner than with our actual wedding! The mariachis are great. In addition, the restaurant is great with a smaller group (have dined with groups of 6 - 12 several times in the past). Occasionally the service is spotty, but only when they are really really busy. I... read more
