This place is a real bone yard of machines just sitting around going no where, and the people you meet there don't come across much better. I left a mower there, and was warned it might be a couple of weeks. Two month's latter all I can see they've done with it is catch a lot of rain, as it just sits out in the front yard. Good work and reasonable prices. Not sure what some expect from a mower repair shop, but eating off the floor shouldn't be one of them. I have had this business do work on my equipment for several years and have only had one wait longer than they said I would, and that's because the part was back ordered from the manufacturer. It may not be the most attractive shop I've seen, but the work is top quality as far as I'm concerned. And no, I don't work for them nor do I socialize with the owners or employees, just a satisfied cu... read more
SQUEEL LIKE A PIGGY It would seem that these hillbillies get a superiority complex if a customer is wearing a tie and does not know the technical terms for a lawn mower part. They were very rude and seemed they were too good for my business. I left and was relived that I wasn't asked to "Squeal like a Piggy" prior to leaving. I cannot find words salient enough to express my warning to potential customers.
Anything you need for mower repair Pickelman's has been in business locally for what seems like forever, which tells you that it's a great resource for parts and supplies as well as repairs. If you ask anyone for a repair shop referral or a place to get parts, Pickelmans is the first name that is offered. They stock a huge variety of parts for all brands of mowers, so you can often complete your repair the same day if you are a do it yourselfer.
