He treated my husband in the hospital. While there, he suffered a stroke. I requested that Dr Pichardo have him moved to ICU because he could not eat by himself, call for help or speak, and he refused. Dr. Pichardo's answer to my husband's care was to have a tube put in his stomach and put him in a nursing home. If you care for your loved ones, don't take them here. Appt was at 3:30, I saw a PA first,she was done with me in 10 minutes. So I waited from 4:00 to 5:30 till Dr.Pichardo came inthe room for a 15 minute visit!!!! I left that place at about 6pm. The staff argued outside the door about having 5:00 patients coming in. Not professional at all. If your spanish you'll love it. I didn't!!!!
After waiting for nearly three hours and specifically asking to see a "Doctor" not a PA....all I saw was a PA. When I told the manager the situation, I finally got to see Nelson Pichardo whom I got into an argument with over the ridiculous wait time...he opened the door for me and said "this visit is over". HERE'S THE BEST PART!!!!!! HE BILLED MY INSURANCE $125 FOR AN OFFICE VISIT!!!!!
