My mom lives in Sarasota, so now every visit includes a trip to Piccolo. Amazing place, The Pizza is among the best I've ever had and I grew up in New York. Everything looks great, The italian meats are great, we picked up 2 pieces of hot sausage this time. The subs looked stuffed with meat too. DON'T miss this place!
Tried a combo (meatball/sausage) sub today. Meatballs were delicious and while I like my sausage a little spicier and with fennel, I thought this was pretty good. It's hard for Italians to eat other Italian's food sometimes, but I loved this sub and in particular, the excellent sauce! Also had a little end of the day treat (thanks Josephine!) Can't wait for my next visit!
Awesome food and the owners are great people I stop in at twice a week
I feel like I am in Brooklyn! The heroes are superb. Best sausages in Sarasota. Everything we have ever ordered is fresh and delicious. In addition, the owners are so super nice you feel like family!!! Our neighbors first suggested this fabulous place. Now we are telling everyone to go...you will not be disappointed.
