Piccolo is, quite simply, my favorite restaurant in NYC. The food is uniformly good, and the hosts treat you like family.
My bf had the linguini carne..something and it came with some huge meatballs. They were delicious. I ordered some ravioli stuffed with veal and spinach and covered in meat sauce. Didn't care for the meat sauce. Some of our utensils were dirty so we asked for hot water to rinse them with. Hostess looked a little skeptical when she saw it. My bf didn't care for her. The place was cosy and romantic and it so happen to our date night also. Honestly I would go back just for the meatballs.

Feels like family every time I go. They always take time to make you feel special and welcome. It's like a warm hug in such a big city. The food is extremely savory and the wine is the best I've had since living in 🇮🇹. Best restaurant in NYC by far.
Simply the best Italian restaurant you will ever find, run by the greatest family you could ever imagine. It is the thing I miss most about New York.

We've been going there since 1992 family-owned people are always nice food is always delicious miss the father was always a cheery face and exciting watch work family is carrying on the tradition wealth still a great place to eat
