My mother went to see Dr. Picarelli on my recommendation on Friday, July 21. She’s 83 years old. All she wanted were her calluses scraped down and her toenails trimmed. I have never in my life seen the most horrific job done to an 83 year old woman’s feet, so much so that I had to take her somewhere else to get her toenails fixed who does that to an 83 year old woman absolutely horrific I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to him nor will I ever go back. I have been a patient since 2007. I have been to 3 others before finding Dr Michael Piccarelli. He has done many different procedures from bunions to plates and screws in both feet. Do not hesitate choosing his practice for your needs. You will be glad you called. Great staff too. 718-273-0123

Dr. Piccarelli operated to correct my left foot bunion problem 5 weeks ago. I'm very happy with the result. The pain and discomfort was much lower than I've expected (compared with what I read on the web). I didn't even took any prescription drugs I was prescribed (only 3 days of Tylenols ). I was able to wear my running shoes and started light excising on stationary bikes for 20 mi. less than 3 weeks post surgery. I had my 2nd surgery with Dr. Picarelli today. He is fantastic. I had a bad fracture in 2016, he repaired it with a plate. I had no pain at all for four years..... it was a fantastic repair. I was told that once you get surgery on a broken bone it is never the same. Well that’s not the case with Dr. Picarelli after my surgery, after my foot healed it was as if nothing ever happened. Dr. Piccarelli took the time to answer all my questions - and I had plenty. He went out of his way to help me get the aftercare I needed. He even worked it out so he could do surgery at the hospital of my choice.

This physician is a good talker and seems knowledgeable,haveing him do surgery was worse decision I ever made.He was not forthcoming at all as to what to expect , as he led me to believe I would be fine and back walking in shoes comfortably in a few weeks. Well not the case,13 weeks later I am in worse shape then when I first saw him.Every minute of every day I am in much discomfort, cant wear most of my shoes, and simple long walks no more.I would not reccomend this doctor.

Worse decision I ever made was to have this physician perform a surgery on my foot.13 weeks later I am in worse shape then before I went to him.He was not forthcoming at all as to what to expect,he led me to believe that I would be back in a shoe and running around in no time.Well ,not the case ,I am in discomfort every minute of every day.Simple chores have become a nightmare,simple walk ,no more.So upset with this physician would NOT recommend at all !!!

Very specific and informative. Shows a lot of patience and is very sincere. Absolute best doctor for the foot. Really educates the patient on the problem. Sees kids and adults.
