A Culinary Treasure Very special food in a charming setting. Try the Bombay Chicken. Well seasoned and nicely presented. Attentive service. Kitchen a bit slow, but the place is usually quite busy, so they seem to have a bit of a job trying to keep up. They have alfresco dining if that moves you, or a casually attractive dining area, if you prefer. I have never had a bad dining experience at Picasso.
Good Food..Long Wait My husband and I dined at Picasso this past summer. It is a quaint place in the center of Barre. I like the option of dining outside and the inside decor is beautiful. The service was a little slow, and the restaurant is very loud when to capacity. The food was good, but not worth the very long wait. If they can improve their speed and maybe add a little sound dampening it could be fantastic.

I live in town and have frequented Picasso since moving here about 8 years ago. I’ve always enjoyed coming and treating ourselves whenever we come. The meals, drinks and atmosphere has always been something we enjoyed. I however, fell more in love with this place during this crazy time. My husband and I are essential workers and work opposite shifts, so we really only have one night off that we get to spend with each other. My first experience was just a few days ago for take out. Everything we ordered was outstanding. From the bread and dipping oil to the meals. The service was prompt and friendly as well. We plan to order again very soon and really looking forward to being able to experience the martinis!
