We were there earlier this week as a group of 12. We were seated on the enclosed patio. We observed a number of large rats, not mice, making themselves at home. We even took photos. Our server saw them and sat on a table to avoid them. We made the management aware of their rodent problem. We didn't try to cause a stir and thought the right thing for the restaurant to do would be to reduce our tab. Didn't happen. Very disappointing.
I've been going to Gavi's restaurants for years and although there's only one left, it still impresses. Used to always order the Veal Marsala and the Calamari Crema. I went again this past week for the first time since becoming vegan. Gavi himself altered a menu item to be vegan for me and Danielle our waitress was smiley, courteous and accommodating. Didn't get his name, but the sandy brown-haired tall bartender was expeditious and friendly.
food was fabulous and so abundant ....wonderful atmosphere as well....will definitely return again and again when in town!!!
