Long time users My husband and I have used Piala's for many years and two homes. We have purchased trees, bushes, rose bushes, vegetable plants, planters and more I'm sure I am forgetting. We keep returning because of the high quality stock, the friendly and helpful service, the lack of pressure, and the beautiful surroundings. We would strongly recommend this nursery and it's family ownership and staff.
Piala's Nursery & Garden Shop is ok. We used to live near Pialas and have since moved away. The few times I went there, the male help was friendly but the females were not, rather snobby, lol. Maybe women in Wis. don't like other women, strange as it is.
oh where can they be?? Met with a rep at the recent Milwaukee home and garden show and came out to look at a small retaining wall project in our backyard-and even after calling and inquiring we never received a proposal to do the work. Easy job for them they seemingly didn't want..
Always excellent experiences! We live nearby, and buy from them many times per year. Service has ALWAYS been warm and helpful, and personnel are very knowledgeable. The grounds are beautiful, with peacocks, pheasants, chickens, and even a mini petting zoo for the kids (they offered to give my little girl a baby goat!)
A horrible experience They gave me an estimate for a job and then constantly tried to up sale me. My original estimate was 50k and the job cost almost 100k. They have a tendency to make the color choices and plant choices theirs, not yours and act confused then rude if you object. DON'T USE THEM! The worst landscaping contractors ever after HIGH references
If you're looking for the highest quality in landscaping- this would be it. You can't beat the quality of their landscaping work in the area. Working with the designers and landscapers was a pleasant experience. Responsive, easy to work with, and they won't cut any corners.
Unless you want to throw away your money, don't go there! I purchased a gift certificate for landscaping for someone as a gift. They were more than happy to take my money, not so happy to actually deliver the service. It's been over a month of missed appointments (on their end), so when I called to ask if they could attend to this, the owner was condescending and belligerent.
