Very difficult to get an authorization for medically necessary treatments. I am having to constantly appeal and then it's 2-3 weeks delayed ... or still denied - even when I have more than one doctor who is saying treatment is needed - frustrating.
So far physmetrics does not cover hardly anything. So far no one within 1 hour of our residence is covered. I was going to physical therapy for over a month before I was informed. Talking to physmetrics staff on the phone they are very uncaring. We have blue shield insurance but blue shield subcontracts to physmetrics. Physmetrics does not care about the person... Totally uncaring. JM
