I was experiencing an asthma attack or a bad cold, I wasn’t sure which. The staff at the Wellnow clinic on Lincoln Ave. did a thorough job getting my history checking my symptoms and educating me about my options going forward. McKenzie, the provider prescribed a lung X-ray and breathing treatment. Kaniyah, the nurse prepared the breathing treatment, explained the process and took my vitals. Mckenzie Jacobson, PA, was extremely helpful and made my experience so much better. I walked in feeling a lot of pain, and she was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable throughout the exam. She was kind, patient, and truly cared about making sure I wasn’t in additional pain while she was performing the exam. I truly recommend her hands down a 10/10!
I am extremely disappointed and frankly outraged by the level of care we received at Physicians Immediate Care during our visit on 03/04/2026. The provider assured us that my child tested negative for everything and sent us home. Later that same day, we were forced to go to the hospital because her condition was clearly worsening. I would love to give a higher review because care was great, but a billing mistake has resulted in over six hundred dollars of incorrect charges being applied to my account. Despite discovering a typo in the way the visit was coded, the problem is still unresolved, as WellNow (which is Physicians Immediate Care billing) has refused to correct the error.
