Update: At a recent visit for severe congestion which I had been dealing with all summer, the doctor advised Claritin and Flonase. I'm thankful that he also gave me a referral for an ENT. I visited the ENT as soon as possible and was diagnosed with a gram-negative bacterial infection (yikes!!!!) which needs treatment with antibiotics. My only dissatisfaction with the Urgent Care is that the doctor said I could try the Claritin for ten days and see if my congestion cleared up.
