Dr. Schurr was my doctor, but he and the other docs in the practice were supposedly let go on June 10 and replaced with Dr. Mohammed Merchant. Since I was being scheduled for surgery, this “change” in doctors caused issue with my insurance company. Phone numbers have changed too. Was on hold 21 minutes waiting to make insurance-required followup with my primary...and still ended up having to leave a message, being told someone would contact me within 48 hours. Wow we have been going to Doctor Lopez for 4 years!! Today ended that, my poor mother was late because the rains and forgetting where the spring lake office was and was TURNED AWAY!! SHE GOT VERY SICK AFTER LEAVING THIS OFFICE THE STAFF IS CRAP! THEY TREATED HER SO BAD!! How come an awesome doctor has crappy staff?!????? They DONT pick up phone!!! Wish to hell there was somewhere or someone who would evaluate the doctors based on their patients review of them. There is one physician at this location who needs to retire or be fired. Always complaining to the patient and talks down to them. Complains about being sued and just overall rotten bedside manner.
