Whenever I feel despondent about the homogenization of our city, I can take solace in the fact the Phyllis is just the same as it has always been. A diamond amidst the rubble of Wicker Park.
In the tradition of the best dive bars, Phyllis' is full of character and is impressively welcoming.
Bartender was rude and inconsiderate. I've been here several times and I wasn't impressed with the service.
