Spring rolls without noodles, peanut sauce that's broken & is watered down to the point where it doesn't stick to the spring rolls. Viet eggrolls were good but the nuoc mam is also watered down, not enough fish sauce, and too much lime. Steamed dumplings were okay? Wouldn't buy again. Banh mi is not traditional. The food was delicious and clean. My only suggestion is that the service could be a little more attentive. There were several staff members (5ppl), but we had to wait quite a while for someone to come to our table.
Was decent when they first opened but kind of fell off. Food tastes like it’s been rushed, pho broth is more like just beef stock with none of the signature complexities that make pho different from just beef stock. Floors are dirty, the sriracha and hoisin caps look like they’re rarely cleaned, chili oil on the tables look old, employees just on their phones, etc., Typical of small, family-owned businesses that become complacent Then when you pay, they basically plead you to leave a good Google review.
Exceptional Pho and service to match. Broth is very well balanced and not too sweet. Easy to see PhoWok pays high attention to detail on food quality, tablewares, and cleanliness. I really like how they have complimentary decanters of chilled water and propper chopsticks. Ethan is a pro with fine dining aura and obvious asset to the restaurant.
