I had my 14 pro max go to black screen during the update to the new I phone software. I contacted a mobile repair shop in Albany plaza in the city and they held my phone for two days after they told me that the repair was not possible. I then went to the phone room in town and gave it to them for repair. In 99% of the cases, I believe it is not possible to restore it as I plugged it into my Mac and tried to reconnect it more than once as I have technical experience. A new battery fitted promptly and it has given a new lease of life to my phone. Recommend a visit for battery replacement.
