My Samung S24 was damaged when I dropped it. The battery would no longer charge and the microphone stopped working. It was only 18 months old and I was afraid I'd have to replace it. **Updated*Post* My apologies for the delay. I returned to the shop the next day, before reading the owner's comment actually. I learned that my SIM card and charging port are on the same circuit board. He replaced the part, then verified the phone would work properly before I left the store, at no additional charge.
