They are involved in quite a few AIDS benefits, community development programs and other good deeds. One whole wall is dedicated to the altruistic projects of 75-year-old owner Linda Pencost. A pool table, pinball and piano, which is used occasionally to produce live music, are other great reasons to visit.

Fave Dive Bar – this place is always fun. I cant pinpoint the attraction but i always leave drunk and smiling. The bartenders are charnming and poor heavy, the decor is trashy chic, complete with a barbie doll chandalier. It's small and it can get crowded but the best part of this place is it attracts a mix of hipsters, locals, regulars, boys girls, gay, straight ,and it all seems to work just fine. This edgy Mission haunt is as small as its name implies and has a rockin' jukebox. – The Scene Located off any beaten path, Phone Booth attracts a mixed bag of friendly folks--from older neighborhood regulars who start their day with a cocktail to young punky lesbians and rock-and-roll straights.
