I just wanted to scrap my old appliances just to get rid of them. They took them. They were very kind and cool. I didn't want anything for it, just glad to get them off my hands. I talked to them on the phone and in person at each trip. Great place to go to scrap/get rid of old appliances and it turns out lawn mowers. My friend's lawn mower is going next!
I took 5 buckets of brass fittings in, averaging approximately 50llbs per bucket. Only got paid for 2 buckets. They gave my ticket to the guy before me. They said sorry, nothing they could do. At the time brass was $1.85 lb. That was 150 llbs @ $1.85 I lost! Rip offs! Never went to them again!

Had some aluminum I needed to get rid of. I told them I’d never been there and didn’t know the process. They were extremely rude and hostile. Don’t do business with them.
