If you are looking for a sober living location this is the place. I stayed at Phoenix Rising in Palm Desert for over a month and had a wonderful experience. Thank you Sam and all the staff at Phoenix Rising for attending to all my needs, and truly caring about my health and sobriety. I did not not feel like I was just a number, my health was their priority.
This place is amazing ! Everything about this place is great. The food, the counselors, and all the staff are awesome. Staff is so helpful. My counselor Paul has been amazing. Another guy that's always helpful all around is Shep. He's a good role model and cool to talk to and have some laughs with. I recommend anyone who's really serious about sobriety to give this place a try! 10/10
I went here for inpatient. I was at my lowest and couldn’t stop the vicious cycle of anxiety and substance abuse. I lost my kids, home, and license. I have never met more caring people in my life. I got kicked out of multiple treatment centers due to constant er visits from panic attacks until I learned how to cope with them by my therepist there. Absolutely loved this place. The staff is knowledgeable, and they care. Shep and Razz were a huge help in my recovery. Would happily recommend this center to friends and family.
Avoid this place. Completely money driven. I went and once I set a date to leave, the entire team shut down on me. My counselor stopped speaking to me, no more therapy and no help or time given to develop an exit plan and aftercare. The program during the week consists of classes that are sometimes led by professionals, but frequently led by staff members that do not seem qualified or educated in running a course.
