I have had two appointments with Dr Mathew. The first was great! I really felt like I had found a specialist that makes patient care a priority. I had some test ordered and Dr Mathew always called me personally to discuss the results. All was good until 72 hours before my scheduled endoscopy/colonoscopy. THAT was when I get the phone call that I need to bring $600 to my appointment in 2 days. Reading reviews of others experiences, I was encouraged to set an appointment for my wife who has been in a lot of pain. Unfortunately, I couldn't even get to step one. The staff is very unprofessional with a huge lack of follow through. We attempted almost everyday for a week to set up an appointment. Finally they called, just to say they would call next week. Unapologetic, uncaring. Very discouraging experience with this company. I pray you have better luck.
Do not recommend. They will perform procedures, weeks will go by and your results are nowhere to be found. The office staff is incompetent and your appointment that you waited a month for will most likely be cancelled on the day of your appointment. If you make a complaint about any of these incidents the doctor herself will tell you to find another place to get treatment.
I have had to see many many doctors due to cancer and other issues but I must say the amount of personal care you get from Dr Mathew is better than anyone would expect. She has called me personally in the evening to respond to a message I may have left or to just check on me. Your office visit is as long as you need it to be, I have never felt rushed or like I was not being listened to.
